AULE ZONE D ESTATE HANDOVER SECURITY HOUSE TO NSCDC

In a bid to complement the efforts of the government in ensuring lives and property of the residents of the Zone D, Aule Government Residential Estate are secured, the Landlords and Residents Association of the zone has built a Security Post and handed over the facility to the Nigeria Society and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

To ensure safety of lives and property, the landlords and residents of the estate put resources together to built the security house.

In his welcome address, the chairman, Government Estate Aule Road Zone D, Engr Ezekiel Oloruntola said the project was born out of desire and commitment to support government in security the estate.

” We are quite aware that security guarantees peace, progress and socio-economic advancement of a society, we are also aware of the government’s effort especially in Ondo State here under the leadership of our Action-Governor ,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at reducing insecurity to the barest minimum in the state’.

The Chairman further stated that, security matters should not be left in the hands of government alone but rather be a collective efforts where everyone should participate to improve security of their respective environment . ‘ This is the reason why we put our resources together and provide this facility”.

He thanked the Landlords and residents of the Estate for their cooperation and contributions to the projects, adding that they have before now contributed to road works and electricity supply in the estate.

Engr Oloruntola appealed to the state governor to consider construction of intra roads within the estate most especially the road linking the estate with Agape/FUTA to ease congestion.

He asked the Governor to provide neighbourhood market and health centre for the estate. ” Aule Estate is growing and developing by the day, we need a neighborhood market and a health centre, this will reduce our stress and we will be able to have access to medical care”.

He congratulates the State Commandant of NSCDC for adding the Estate Security Unit to his command, appealing to the users of the facility to make proper use of it, also thanking the command for accepting then and deploying their men to the estate.

The Chairman thanked the Works Committee for their commitment to the successful completion of the project, also appreciate the donor of the land where the building was erected.

The Chairman of the Works Committee, Prof Kayode Omole said the security post was built to prevent attack from the men of underworld and other criminal elements that might be terrorising the estate.

The University Don said the building cost the estate N3m, requesting for government presence in the estate, saying basic amenities being enjoyed in the estate were through contributions of the landlords and residents of the estate.

” Be it electricity, transformer, grading of roads and other amenities were put together through the collaborative effort of every residents of the estate”.

Speaking, the Central Chairman of Aule Estate, Mr Opedun commended the brilliant steps of the landlords and residents of the estate, charging other zones within the estate to emulate Zone D, saying security of lives and property should not be taken with levity.

Reacting, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abodunrin thanked the community for building security house in the estate, noting that, security of lives and property should be a collective interest of everybody and shouldn’t be left to the government alone”.

He assured the estate of maximum cooperation of the command with the leadership of the Estate.


The Commandant said the Corps will continue to collaborate with other Security agencies in making sure the people of the estate are well secure and safe.

In the same vein, the DPO of Okuta Elerinla noted that his command will collaborate with the Civil Defense Corps to maintain adequate security in the estate.

The DPO commissioned the building and key of the facility was handed over to the Commandant of NSCDC. Facilities inside the building includes, complain desk, office, cell, store, toilet and bathroom.
