APC Elders Committee Ask Ondo People to Resume Prayers For Akeredolu’s Quick Recovery

Ondo APC Elders Committee has resolved in their meeting held on Monday 13th of November, 2023 that the people of the state should resume their prayers for quick recovery of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, saying with fervent prayers, the Governor will soon be back on his feet.
In a Communique signed by the Secretary of the Committee, Otunba Agboola Kelly and made available to Newsmen, several pressing issues affecting the state were deliberated upon.
Among the issue resolved are the continuous prayers for speedy and permanent recovery of the governor, meeting the National Leadership of the party on State Issues among others.
The Elders also resolved to book appointment to see the governor and pray for him saying what the governor needs most at this time is fervent and continuous Prayers from the people of the state.
They Commended the National Leadership of the party for their intervention in the face-off between the State House of Assembly and the Deputy Governor.
The Committee also told the State Assembly to stop the impeachment process against the Deputy Governor in tandem with the agreement reached with the National Leadership of the party in Abuja.
“‘As a loyal party members, the State House of Assembly should not flout the National Leadership directives of the party under any circumstances”.
Meanwhile, the Elders congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his Supreme Court victory while wishing him a successful tenure in office as he strives to establish the egalitarian Nigeria of our founding fathers.
Elders in attendance include Chief Jamiu Ekungba, Chief Mrs Jumoke Ajasin Anifowose, Engr Muyiwa Ogunleye, High Chief Barr Magnus, Aare Dr Segun Ayodele, Snr Apostle Sola Akinmejiwa, Hon Abiodun Jerome, Elder Osewole Modupe, Erelu Modupe Martin’s, Deaconess E Ajibade, Wolj Esther Ayeni Biraye, High Chief Megbontowon, Hon Femi St James, Prince Omonijo Robinson among others.
