Alonge: 2024 Year of Renew Hope, Sends Greetings to Ondo Residents

A Retired Permanent Secretary and Senior Special Assistant to the Former Governor of Ondo State on Social Investment Programme, Barr Felix Kolawole Alonge has told the people of Ondo State that 2024 is a year of Renew Hope where shower of blessings and God’s favour will locate the state and individuals.

In his New Year Message made available to the PATH, the Akoko born politician and technocrat assured Ondo State residents of a better 2024, saying God’s plan for Ondo State would materialize despite the challenges of the immediate past year.

Alonge noted that the exit of the governor of the state toward the end of 2023 was traumatic and painful to the people of Ondo State but urged the family, supporters and associates of Akeredolu to take solace in his legacies.

The SSA added that Late Akeredolu was not just a boss but a leader, a brother that believe in his ability and capability which earned him the position of Senior Special Assistant on Social Investment Programme for two consecutive terms before the governor unexpected death.

His words: ” I bring you warm greetings from my heart to the good people of Ondo State as we celebrate New Year. You are all welcome to 2024, a year of Renew Hope for a better Ondo State”.

“Also I want to use this medium to once again send my condolence to the people of our dear state over the loss of a great leader, a fearless fighter and an advocate of good governance, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.”.

“My Late Boss, Akeredolu death really made 2023 a traumatic year but who are we to question God, the Giver and taker of lives. Death is a debt we must all pay at God chosen time. Let’s take solace in a well fulfilled life lived by Akeredolu”.

The SSA asked the people of the state to cooperate with the newly sworn-in governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, saying he has what it takes to bring needed development to Ondo State.

Alonge further appealed to the political gladiators in the state to priotize the unity and peace of the state ahead of the 2024 governorship election, saying politics is service to humanity and not a do or die affairs.
