Akure Ex Rep Candidate, Barrister Adu distributes 200 helmets to Okada Riders

A Stalwart of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) in Ondo State, Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu has distributed 200 branded Crash Helmets to riders of Commercial Motorcycle, popularly called Okada in Akure, Ondo State.
Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu is a former House of Representatives candidate of the People’s Democratic party, Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency.
He distributed the helmet during a get-together organized for the party’s leaders, members and various Adu Support Groups.
While chatting with the PATH, Adu said the safety of lives of the motorcycle Riders is very paramount to him, noting that, the helmets will serve as a protection in case of eventuality while plying their trade.
His words: ” My Party, the People’s Democratic party prioritize the welfare and safety of its citizens; in my own little way of supporting our presidential candidate, the helmets are just to show our people that we care. With the PDP at the Federal and State levels, Nigerians can be assured of better standard of living,” he stated.
He thanked PDP Leaders and Members in all the wards in Akure South and North for their support, love and commitment to Adu’s project, saying he will continue to add values to the life of his people without discrimination.
The helmets were distributed to all lucky Okada Riders that dropped Passengers at the venue of the meeting.
Speaking, Jimoh Obabi, a former State Chairman of ACOMORAN in Ondo State commended the kind gesture of Barrister Adu who he described as a man with large heart and Heart of God.
The distribution of the helmets were handled by Obabi as fondly called, praising Adu for prioritizing the safety of Okada Riders in Ondo State. The Helmets were customized with the name of Jegede Adu for Atiku’s 2023 Presidency.
One of the beneficiaries who speaks on behalf of others thanked Adu for extending hands of love to Okada Riders, asking God to grant all his heart desires.
