Akeredolu Supreme Court Judgement Is A Reflection of People’s Will – Hon Omowunmi Ohwovoriole

Following the petition brought before the Supreme Court by the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede SAN over the declaration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN of the All Progressive Congress by INEC in the October 10th 2020 gubernatorial election as the duly elected governor, the Apex court has laid to rest the case as four out of the seven Justices have upheld the verdict of the Court of Appeal.

In a statement released by the media aides of Hon Omowunmi Ohwovoriole, congratulating the governor over the Supreme Court judgement, she described the court verdict as the reflection of people’s will.

According to the Chairman, the sterling performance of Mr. Governor during his first term in office made his second term in office possible, which explains why the people of the state went into wild jubilations after the verdict of the Supreme court was announced.

While also congratulating the Wife of Ondo State Governor Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu, the Deputy Gov. Lucky Ayedatiwa and the people of Ondo State for standing by their Governor, Hon. Ohwovoriole also felicitated with Ondo APC saying the Governor’s victory shows the party did chose the right candidate during the last election.
