OSAEC To Train 1000 Ondo Youths In Fisheries, Aquaculture

Ondo State Government through its agency, Ondo State Agribusiness Empowerment Centre (OSAEC) is set to train and empower 1000 Ondo State youths in Fisheries and Aquaculture.

The Chairman of the Agency, Chief Rotimi Wemimo Akinsola posted this on his Facebook account, while thanking Governor Aiyedatiwa for the privilege of leading the training, screening, and orientation exercise for the Eja Irorun programme, being implemented through the OSAEC.

He stated that, the goal of the agency is to train and empower 1000 youths in fisheries and aquaculture practice.

His words: ” I was joined by the Permanent Secretary, OSAEC, directors, staff members, and my technical team as we addressed our participants, walking them through the full structure of the programme, our targets, and what is expected of every single one of them as they go through this journey”.

“This is more than just a training, it’s a foundation. We took the time to be clear and detailed, because we want every participant to fully understand what lies ahead and to key into it with the right mindset from day one”.

Akinsola assured participants of OSAEC’s unwavering commitment to the initiative and to their success saying they expect discipline, commitment, and readiness to learn from the participants.

He added that, they will provide the support and guidance needed to help them thrive in aquaculture and Fisheries.

Meanwhile, the official launching and flagging off of the programme would be announced at later date.
