Awude, Bishop Omole, Jogbodo, Others to Grace Distinguished Teacher’s Hall of Fame Award

All is set for the 2026 edition of the Distinguished Teacher’s Hall of Fame Award slated for September 29th at the OSPDC Multipurpose Event Hall Ijapo Estate Akure, Ondo State.
The event is being organized by the management of the News Connect Magazine, celebrating hardworking and outstanding teachers who have contributed and made positive impact in the state education sector.
The Guest Speaker will be speaking on the theme: Students Unrest in Secondary School: The Emerging Trend of Signing Out in Ondo State.
Addressing Newsmen, the Publisher of the News Connect Magazine stated that, management of the news tabloid thought it wise to celebrate many unsung heroes and stakeholders in education sector, who have contributed immensenly to education development in Ondo State.
Meanwhile, Hon Dayo Awude, former Commissioner for Youths and Sports will chair the occasion while Bishop (Dr) Anthony Temitope Omole, the General Overseer of the Possibility Prayer House Ministry is the special guest and Dr Fadekemi Jogbodo, Tutor General, Ondo Central will deliver Keynote address.
Line up activities for the program includes Award, inter schools debate, magazine presentation, music, culture among others.
Some of the lucky recipients to be decorated with Lifetime Achievement in Education Sector include Akoni Oluyide Adeniyi, principal of Oyemekun Grammar School, Dr (Mrs) Omobola Ojoge, principal Fiwasaye Girl’s Grammar School Akure, Pastor (Mrs) Rachael Titilayo Olumuyiwa among others will be honoured for their outstanding contributions to the education sector.
