Glow Health Outreach Founder, Dr Ezekiel Akande Seeks Partnership with Ondo Newspaper Publishers

The Founder of the Glow Health Outreach Initiative, Dr Ezekiel Kayode Akande, has sought the collaboration and support of Newspaper Publishers in Ondo, with intent of using their different media platforms to sensitize the public of the activities of the Foundation.
Dr Akande who doubled as the Chief Executive Officer of Glow 99.1FM Akure disclosed this while speaking with members of the Association of Independent Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (AINPN) at the association’s Sectetariat in Akure.
He stated that, beyond investment in radio, he’s deeply concerned about health access and public health education in communities within the state, which led to the formation of Glow Health Outreach Initiative.
His words: ” Our goal through this initiative is simple: to bring health information and practical support closer to the people. Many of our people suffer not only because of poverty but also because of late diagnosis, lack of information, fear, stigma, and poor access to basic health guidance. Glow Outreach Initiative is our own modest contribution toward changing that reality”.
Dr Akande added that, the Outreach is an affiliated humanitarian platform focused on health education free, medical outreach, preventive healthcare awareness and support for underserved communities.
He noted that, politics should not be left only to Career Politicians but should also involve people who have built institutions, created jobs, served communities, managed resources and understand the pain and hope of ordinary citizens.
The CEO added that, his meeting with the association was to build a relationship with the body, allow them to know the brain and the man behind Glow 99.1FM and the Outreach, believing the partnership will yield positive results.
” I want you to help sensitize the people within your areas of influence about who I am, what I have done, what I am doing, and what I hope to contribute to the larger development of our state”.
Meanwhile, the Oke-Agbe, Akoko born Medical Doctor turned Media Proprietor called for stronger media collaboration with the association to achieve more robust and impactful projects.
He condemned corruption and other sharp practices in society, citing experiences from his business dealings with different individuals over the years, noting that dishonest conduct could make people lose credibility, recognition, and the trust of those who recommended them for opportunities.
According to him, transparency, dedication to duty, and exemplary leadership are virtues that every responsible leader should demonstrate to younger people who look up to them, particularly in the media industry.
He maintained that employees working in reputable organisations with attractive salaries and welfare packages should have no reason to engage in misconduct or fraudulent practices, stressing that such actions ultimately undermine the revenue and growth of the organisation.
