Less than 48hours to the Governorship Election in Ekiti State, the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Mr Victor Adetunji has stepped down for Governor Biodun Oyebanji of All Progressive Congress (APC) saying there is need for continuity of his good work in Ekiti State.

In a surprising turn of events, Mr. Victor Adetunji, the Zenith Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate for Ekiti State in the June 20, 2026, election, has announced his decision to step down in favor of Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the APC.
