Funsho Olasheni (Aleiba) Congratulates Hon Babatunde Kolawole, Says His Leadership will bring Unity To APC

An All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain and Aspirant, Hon Funsho Joseph Olasheni has congratulated a former member of House of Representatives, Hon. Kolawole Gabriel Babatunde on his emergence as the State chairman of the APC in Ondo State.

Aleiba as popularly called is one of the leading aspirants contesting for a seat at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akoko South West Constituency 1.

Speaking with the PATH at the Dome in Akure, he extended solidarity to the newly elected chairman of Ondo APC, members of State Working Committee (SWC), other state executives and the recently elected party executives at the local government and ward levels.

He described Hon Babatunde as a thorough bred politician with verse experience in party administration having served as a member of the House of Representatives, three times Special Advisers to both Governor Akeredolu and Aiyedatiwa at different point in time.

He described the peaceful exercise as a reflection of purposeful leadership, internal democracy, and the growing strength of the party across the state.

The Assembly Hopeful added that he is confident that the new era under the leadership of the Chairman-elect and other executives will usher in greater achievements for the progressives in Ondo State.

He urged party executives to mobilize party members to support the Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa-led administration and its initiatives saying Aiyedatiwa remains the leader of the party in Ondo State.

Meanwhile, Aleiba assured people of Akoko South West Constituency 1 of better representation if elected to represent them at the State Assembly.

He promised to bring his wealth of experience into better legislation, bring dividend of good governance to the door steps of the people, noting that with the support of his people, he stands a better chance of clinching the party ticket and winning the general election.
