WYDEF Confers Youth Ambassador Award On Sckye Hospitals CMD, Dr Ikubese

The multiple awards winning Medical Doctor in Ondo State, Dr Thomas Wilson-Ikubese has again received Youth Ambassador and Pillar of Support Award for his contributions to youth development and humanitarian services to the indigents in the society.

The award presentation was done at the office of the Chief Medical Doctor of the Sckye Hospitals where Dr Wilson commended the merit based yardstick used by the organization to fish him.

The Western Youth Development Forum (WYDEF) a Non Governmental Organization with Headquarters in Abuja considered the former Presidential aspirant for the prestigious honour having carefully investigated the activities of the medical practitioner in the Sunshine State.

Speaking, the President of the NGO, Prince Sunday Oyedele disclosed that the honour was strictly on merit, saying the free medical services to pregnant women, free HIV and Blood Test and Free Caesarian Operation for pregnant women with Multiple births among others stand Dr Ikubese out among his contemporaries.

He added that, aside the free medical to Pregnant women, the NGO which was established to champion the cause of Nigerians Youth at all times also considered Sckye CMD for the honour in recognition of his giant strides in youth development.

The President charged Dr Ikubese to continue to contribute his best quota to the development of mankind, adding that aside worldly rewards, there’s reward in life thereafter.

Responding to the honour, Dr Ikubese thanked the organization for counting him worthy for the prestigious Award while also encourage the organization to continue to honour and celebrate noble individuals who have contributed in no small measure to Nation Building.

Dr Ikubese who frowned at the Japa Syndrome of many Nigerians said he is of strong believe that the country will soon become the giant of Africa in the real sense and big brother of Black Race.

He condemned the manner at which Nigerians politicians have bastardized the system but optimistic that Nigeria will soon change for good provided all hands are on deck.

His words: ”To my knowledge, Politics is all about services to the people and not place for acquisition of wealth. Whoever wants to make money should go into business and not politics where our collective resources is being embezzled on daily basis”.

He tasked Nigerians Youth to wake up from their slumber and make good opportunity of the present government that promised to patronize and priotise youth development, promising to continue to assist the Youth within his God given capacity.
