2023: ATSCGG Holds Meeting With Over 200 Tinubu Support Groups In Ondo

In a bid to hamonise various Support Groups rooting for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition For Good Governance (ATSCGG) has held its maiden meeting with over 200 Tinubu Groups in Akure, Ondo State Capital.

Ambassador Olusola Iji, the South West Coordinator and Director General on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 held meeting with leaders of the various groups in Ondo State at Helena Hotel Akure.

Addressing the groups, Ambassador Iji tasked each group present at the meeting to work assiduously for the emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.

He said the purpose of the meeting was to harmonize all the various groups across the South West to work for the success of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima of All Progressives Congress in 2023 general election in Nigeria.

His words: ” This meeting became necessary to have all groups under an umbrella coalition to ensure the synergy of operation towards the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential polls. We are not collapsing groups but work together for a common goals of winning in the 2023 presidential election” , he stated.

While thanking all the groups for working assiduously long before the primaries that produced Bola Ahmed Tinubu as All Progressive Congress ( APC) flag bearer, he urged them to continue to work independently and in harmony as the essence of the meeting is to harmonize all their efforts towards achieving the overall goal.

“This coalition is coordinating the activities of all groups that are supporting Asiwaju Tinubu and Shettima. Ondo State is my state of origin, I have to commence the work from my home to register them in preparation for the presidential campaign that will take effect from September ending.

Ambassador Iji charged all the members of the various groups present at the meeting to go back to their respective local government areas to work hard to ensure unprecedented success of Asiwaju Tinubu at the polls.

Ambassador Iji clarified that, the Coalition is not competiting with the Party Structure In the state but to work with party’s campaign council in achieving the major goal of victory for our party and its presidential candidate.

Speaking with the PATH, a former commissioner and All Progressive Congress Stalwart in Ondo State, Barrister Kazeem Olarenwaju berated some leaders of Afenifere working against the interest of Yoruba ahead of the 2023 Presidential Election.

The Ikare born politician condemned in totality the stands of the Afenifere leaders who abandon the interest of the Yoruba to pitched tent with candidate from another region.

According to him, ” 2023 is beyond Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu; the interest of Yoruba must be protected by all and sundry. This is our time to produce the next president of Nigeria. We must all shun personal animosity toward the Asiwaju Tinubu and begin to work towards his victory in the forthcoming election”.

He charged various Tinubu Interest Groups to begin sensitisation of the electorates across every length and breath of Nigeria, telling them why Asiwaju Tinubu is the best among other presidential candidates.
