Ahead of the November 16 Governorship Election in Ondo State, Alonge Support Forum (ASF) has thrown their weight behind Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa describing him as the best candidate in the race.
In a Press Statement made available to the PATH, the Group commended the giant strides of the governor since assumption of office ten months ago.
They made a passionate appeal to the people of Akoko South West mostly Oka Akoko to vote for Governor Aiyedatiwa, saying he is the most experienced and competent among the 17 candidates jostling for number position in Ondo State.
The Statement Reads:
” As the November 16 Governorship Poll in Ondo State is near, one candidate the people of Ondo State should vote for is Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC. He has been tested and we can trust him with our votes.
In the last ten months in the saddle, he has proven his mettle as the best man for the job. Nobody changes a winning team and what we need as a state is continuity of his good works.
We have seen his efforts in the infrastructure development, payment of WAEC fees, recruitment of teachers and health workers, approval of N73,000 minimum wage for workers, disbursement of over N1.4b for aged, youths through the Social Investment Programme among others.
If Mr Governor can do this within this shortest period, if given mandate of four years, Ondo State would be transformed and become envy of others States.
We are imploring the people of Ondo State particularly Oka Akoko and other towns in Akoko South West to come out enmass to vote our performing Governor on the 16th of November for continuity”.
