Yuletide : Carpenters & Furniture Union Laud Akeredolu Over Distribution of Bags of Rice To Members

The Leadership of the Carpenter and Furniture Union, Ondo State Chapter has thanked the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN over Bags of Rice distributed to its members ahead of the Christmas Celebration.

In the spirit of celebration, the bags of rice was another means of putting smiles into the faces of the people of the state mostly at this period of economy hardship across the country.

The Governor of Ondo State through his Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties, Mr Dare Aragbaiye said that the approval was in line with the Govenor’s ‘usual magnanimity,’ as the father of the state.

“Arakunrin Akeredolu does not only priotise the welfare of the workers but also hold the people of the State in high esteem in terms of welfarism and people’s oriented policies”.

Speaking with the PATH NEWS, the State President of the Carpenter and Furniture Union (CF) Comrade Adekunle Obolo thanked the governor for extending hands of love to his members during this yuletide season.

He added that since the governor assumed office, his patronage of Artisans in the state is commendable in terms of contract approval for the union among other benefits.

The President prayed for quick recovery of the Governor, saying the people of the state can’t but wait for the continuity of his good work in Ondo State.

He urged the people of the state not to stop in their prayers for the governor whose tenure has transformed every nook and cranny of Ondo State.

While thanking Mr Dare Aragbaiye, Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties and his Personal Assistant, Kayode Edema for making frantic effort on issues affecting Artisans in Ondo State, he prayed for God protection over them as they work with the Caring Heart Governor.

Comrade Obolo also appreciated the Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the continuation of the good work of his boss who is recuperating abroad, asking the state Excos to cooperate with him pending that time the Governor will resume back to office.

Meanwhile, the distribution of Bags of Rice were not limited to the Carpenter and Furniture Union alone but also extended to other associations in the state.
