The Special Senior Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Social Investment Programme, Barrister Felix Alonge has felicitate Christian faithful on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.
Barr Alonge in a statement made available to the PATH urges the people to celebrate with reflection on the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ being celebrated.
He called Christians all over the world to extend hands of fellowship to one another as done by Jesus Christ.
“Christmas period is another season to extend our hands of fellowship and love to the less privileged people in the society because that is what the birth of Jesus Christ signified”.
Barr Alonge uses the season to pray for the unity, peace and progress of the country noting, that only prayer can take us to greater height.
He commended the Ondo state government for it’s proactive stand to tackle the spiral insecurity in the stat, saying,other neighboring states should emulate this wonderful steps of Gov Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
He cautioned people to celebrate in moderation saying Xmas will come and go.
While commending Governor Akeredolu for being a kindhearted governor in all his dealings with the people of the state and ensuring the Work Force salary were paid before the Xmas, he charged them to be a law abiding citizens as they approach 2023 general elections.
