TRAGIC: Three Siblings of The Same Mother, Ex AAUA SUG President, Others Died In Akungba Accident

It was a black Saturday in Akungba Akoko University Town as many students, traders met their untimely death as trailer killed several people in a shop located opposite the school gate.

PATH learnt that a truck loaded with cement rammed into a shop in front of the school gate, killing many students and traders. The truck belonging to Dangote was said to had a break failure before ramming into the shop.

A 500 level law student and former President of the Students’ Union in the school was among the people that loss their lives in the ghastly accident while many injured were rushed to the hospital.

The most tragic was the three siblings of the same parents who died in the accident. Two of them were said to be a final year students before they met their untimely death.

Unconfirmed report has it that the mother of the three children gave up the ghost the moment the news of her children dead was broken to her.

Meanwhile, the management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) has announced an indefinite closure of the school over the Saturday’s ghastly accident in front of the University.

The school management in the latest statement Released on Sunday Advised all students to vacate the campus latest by 6pm today.
