Senate President Aide, Hon. Fadairo Disburses 225 JAMB Forms, Exercise Books To Students

In the third edition of the Hon Fadairo Dennis Oluwafemi Foundation Empowerment Program, no fewer than 225 students have.benefited from an Education Empowerment put together by Hon. Dennis Oluwafemi Fadairo, Director of Administration to the Senate President.

At the 2021 empowerment program, JAMB forms were distributed free of charge to 225 students in Akure North and Akure South Federal Cinstituency. The presentation of the forms was done by the Deji of Akure, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo at CAC Mega School, Iro, Akure.

In his address, Hon Fadairo said he has made it one of his focus to improve the educational standard of students and promote youth development in Akure community.

” My determination to increase the number of beneficiaries in the 2021 edition was to further support the students the more in their academic pursuit’.

He said the inability of many parents to fund their children’s education beyond secondary school due to high level of poverty has denied many brilliant students the opportunity for higher education.

“Education is the best legacy and I want to positively contribute my own quota because I believe one can achieve excellence when one reads”.

Fada as fondly called enjoined the students to be studious in other for them to pass the examination with flying colors. ” You can only achieve excellence when you read and pass your exams”.

He stated further that, his joy was not only giving forms to the students but seeing them passing their exam with good grades, asking the beneficiaries to read as if there is no tomorrow.

Fadairo promised to give scholarship to the best student, saying that is the only way to encourage beneficiaries of the WAEC and JAMB Forms to put in their best.

In her remarks, the First Lady of Ondo State, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu- Akeredolu ably represented by SA to the Governor on Special Duties, Mr. Alex Uka applauded Hon. Fadairo for giving back to people of his constituency.

The Deji of Akure Kingdom, HRM Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, Odundun II in his remarks commended the kind gesture of Hon. Fadairo and for sharing the same vision with the late sage, late Chief Obafemi Awolowo who introduced free education in the Western Region.

The Chairman of the occasion, Chief Olu Adegboro acknowledged the significance of the gesture, urging others to take a cue from Hon. Fadairo saying if he is encouraged to go higher, he will do more for his people and as well cover more grounds.

In the same vein, the Chief Imam of Akure kingdom, Alhaji Yayi Akorede while praying for Hon. Fadairo urged members of his constituency to continue to support his dreams and aspirations as he has continually demonstrated his love for his people by empowering them in various ways from time to time.

Notable Akure leaders in attendance gave their good will messages and the presentation of the exercise books were done by then. Roll called was endless: Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo, Chief Olukemi Adegboro, Senator Farunkanmi, Regent of Oda Town, Chief SB Akerele, Hon Idowu Otetubi, Saka Ogunleye, APC Deputy State Chairman, Hon Alex Uka represents First Lady of Ondo State, Chairman Akure South and Akure North, party leaders at Ward and local government levels in Akure South and North among other dignitaries graced the occasion.
