School of the Visually Impaired Principal Didn’t Defile Gov Aiyedatiwa’s Order

The principal of School for the visually impaired, Owo, Mrs. Morolayo Agbele who was wrongly alleged of defiling governor’s verbal statement has done nothing wrong in the beaucratic system of civil service, therefore according to journalists investigation, the principal, Mrs. Morolayo Agbele should not be castigated instead she should be encouraged for installing sanity and discipline into the school.

Accourding to our impeccable source, the students in question were suspended due to their level of indiscipline, act of distorting peaceful coexistence in the school compound and physical assult melted on two members of staff.

Record revealed that about two weeks ago, when the representatives of People With Disabilities, PWDs came to protest at governor’s office, City Movers Magazine was the only media organisation at the scene, even when Ondo State performing governor, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa asked them to meet him at the government house, City Movers Magazine was with them.

The correct information is that they never protested over a school principal but they asked for the immediate removal of their board chairperson, Folashade Arise which governor abided with their request.

Behold, governor never mentioned any issue concerning school for the visually impaired, talkless of instructing the school principal to reinstate peace breakers who were officially suspended.

Even if he had stated that those students should be reabsorbed, every experienced individual should know that normal civil service route should be followed and it is the duty of any learned and experienced journalist to adequately educate the parents of affected students to soberly channel their reinstatement via the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology instead of going to assult the school principal.

Some of the people interviewed who preferred to remain annonymous told City Movers Magazine that, every principal in Ondo State including the wrongly alleged principal of the school for the visually impaired, Mrs. Morolayo Agbele report to director of schools, while director of schools reports to the permanent secretary and permanent secretary reports to the commissioner.

Hence, the concerned students were suspended or expelled officially, it is not out of place if their reinstatement should be made official because of tomorrow.

According to a disciplined parent, journalists are stakeholders in the society, they have better understanding than many people, they should be able to educate people who are going wrong irrespective of their relationship and they should be very careful of what can jeopardise the peaceful coexistence in the society, particularly Ondo State.

Mrs. Morolayo Agbele had changed the narratives of the school due to her unprecedented performance, discipline and morals in the few months she got to the school. She seized this opportunity to appreciate the state governor, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his fatherly roles always on all the PWDs and the special schools in the state.
