Saturday’s Poll: Vote buying is gradually fading away in our Election – Barr Olumuyiwa Adu

As Nigerians troop out in millions to elect the president of Nigeria, a front line leader and stalwart of the People Democratic Party in Ondo State, Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu has disclosed that vote buying is gradually fading away from the country’s electoral process.

Speaking with the PATH after casting his vote at Iro polling Unit in Akure, he noted that people of Nigeria have begun to considered credibility and capacity while voting saying the era of financial inducement is no longer popularly.

He commended the peaceful conduct of voters at the Polling Unit, adding that the era of ballots snatching is old fashioned as voters are ready to defend their votes.

While commending INEC on the hitch free accreditation and functioning BIVAS, he appealed to voters to be calm during and after the result must have been declared by INEC.
