RE: TAJUDEEN ADEFISOYE’S SPURIOUS ALLEGATIONS — A CALL FOR CONCERN OVER HIS MENTAL WELL-BEING*
In the last few days, *Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye*, popularly known as _Small Alhaji_, has taken to his Facebook page — _SMALL ALHAJI_ — to circulate a series of unfounded stories that are better imagined than real.
He has made wild allegations against an octogenarian, persistently attacked *Engr. Ade Adetimehin*, and on *17th August, 2026*, announced he was discontinuing his pre-election case and other matters.
Since yesterday, I have been inundated with calls and messages drawing my attention to his reckless post tagging me with accusations of killing and other grievous claims.
Ordinarily, I would have ignored him completely. But for the sake of my genuine supporters, constituents, and well-meaning Nigerians who deserve the truth, I will not sweep this aside as usual.
*The facts remain:*
In the run-up to the 2023 general elections, brigandage and thuggery became the order of the day in Idanre. At that time, as Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army, he deployed his office to bring in trucks of army personnel to attack residents at Irowo.
Properties were destroyed and businesses disrupted. He later rushed to the press to distort the narrative.
Elders and community leaders have also suffered his verbal and physical abuse.
Since his term in the 9th National Assembly, he has struggled to win his own polling unit, despite constantly changing wards. The electorate have spoken, and they hold the ace.
Ahead of the last APC primaries, he used contacts at Alagbaka to frustrate my defection into the party and sponsored media attacks against me. Together with a few others, he also attempted to take over organs such as NURTW, ACCOMORAN, and the Artisans’ associations — but by God’s grace, we stood firm.
The unfortunate incident of *18th February, 2026* is an extension of the earlier attack on the State Chairman of the party and his executives. That day left us with loss of lives, destruction of property, and individuals with life-threatening injuries. It was an eyesore.
Given that he has now named several individuals in connection with the matter, it suggests he may have prior knowledge of the incident. *I therefore urge him to voluntarily present himself to security operatives.* His knowledge could help unravel the full details of that ugly saga.
At this point, as a representative of the Federal Constituency, *I call on all men and women of goodwill to pray for Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye.* It is evident that he needs our support, sympathy, and supplications at this critical moment of his life.
May God heal, guide, and restore him.
