Precision @ 5: Babatunde Faro Confers Merit Award, Demands for More Youth involvement in Governance

A leading aspirant vying for Akure South/North Federal Constituency in the coming bye election, Hon Babatunde Faro was on Sunday 12th December, 2021 bagged Precision Online Newspapers Award in recognition of his contributions to humanity and society.
Hon Faro who was represented by one of his aides in the event held at Ade super Hotel, Akure to commemorate the five year anniversary of the Precision online newspaper demanded for more youth involvement in governance as the country’s moves towards 2023 general elections.
Hon. Faro thanked Precision Online for the honour, saying with the prestigious award coming from a reputable online media platform will no doubt spurs him to continue to contribute to humanity.
He congratulates the publisher of the online newspaper for his dexterity to withstand the challenges of running a news platform.
In his lecture titled: “Tottering on the brink of collapse: Is Restructuring the way out of Nigeria’s extant Crises”, Prof. Femi Mimiko, former Vice Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko stressed the scientific need for restructuring saying it was quite unfortunate that life has lost its value in Nigeria as some parts are now out of the hands of government officials.
In his welcome address, the publisher, Precision Online Newspapers, Mr. Olusegun Hakeem Adebumiti while recounting the 5 years journey said the journey has been challenging but he was able to stand the tides through the support of God and adherence to professionalism.
The chairman of the occasion, Dr. Bode Ayorinde noted that restructuring the country must be continual until Nigerian leaders see the need to restructure every facet of our existence for better governance.
