PCCG: Prophet Oluwamodede Celebrates 21st Anniversary, Commissioned Multi-Million Naira Administrative Building

Prayer Centre Church of God today celebrated its 21st anniversary amidst thanksgiving and praises where members from all walk of life gathered at the Church Headquarters, Akure, Ondo State to rejoice with the General Overseer, Prophet Samson Oluwamodede.

The G O revealed that he gotten everything he had today in Jesus Christ, saying it’s more profitable to serve God.The anniversary theme was tagged ” Holy Spirit Activated”.

In his anniversary message, Prophet Oluwamodede said he married, gave birth to children and acquire good things of life in Christ, adding that before he gave his life to Christ, he was nobody but in Christ Jesus his blessings are uncountable.

He added that the journey of 21 years in the ministry wasn’t easy but with God on his side, he was able to overcome challenges and waxing stronger in Christ.

” When we started this ministry, some people didn’t believe in my calling probably because of my Muslim background, to them I wasn’t called by God. They even said the ministry can’t go beyond three years but God surprised them. They went further that we can’t make it to seven years, again we surpassed it and they talked about ten years but today we are celebrating twenty-one years of our existence and the ministry is still waxing stronger in the Lord”.

The GO also stated that the major focus of the ministry is the salvation of souls, saying he will continue to win souls for Christ till the coming of Jesus Christ.

He thanked his darling wife who he described as his backbone,members of the church, friends of the ministry for their support and fervent prayer, while asking them to continue to pray for the ministry.

Speaking on the Multi-Million Naira Administrative Building Commissioned as part of the activities marking the 21 years anniversary, Prophet Oluwamodede said having spent more than 20 years inside plank building, God used someone to start the project that cost nothing less than 40 million Naira to complete.

He thanked and prayed for everyone that contributed to the project, saying the building came at the God’s appointed time.

Speaking with the PATH, Prince Sola Amodeni congratulated the General Overseer who God has been using for the salvation and healing of mankind in the last 21 years.

In a separate goodwill messages to the GO, they eulogized the gifts of God in the life of the General Overseer who God has been using to deliver, heal and prosper people under his canopy.

In attendance was traditional rulers, Prince Diran Iyantan, NPC Commissioner, Hon Sola Amodeni, former commissioner, Pastor Owoye from UK, pastors from other states of the federation among others.

The week long programme will be rounded up on Sunday, 18th June with thanksgiving at the Church Headquarters.
