Parents Accuse St Louis Grammar School Principal, Adara of Admission Racketeering, Sale of School Uniform

It has come to the notice of Ondo State Government of the alleged under hand dealings of the principal of St Louis Girl’s Grammar School, Akure, Mrs Adara in the admission of students into JSS 1 and selling of School Uniform as against the directive of government.
The aggrieved parents protested over this atrocity coming at this period of economic hardship across the country.
The Principal who refused to speak with journalists that visited her office for clarification was allegedly mandated the new students to purchase their school uniform at a designated place, thereby disobeying the order of government.
The attention of the Commissioner of Education, Hon Laolu Akindolire was drawn to the protest of the parents, leading his inspection team to the school where he addressed the aggrieved parents, thereafter ordered the principal to perfect the admission of the students affected by the alleged racketeering.
Speaking with journalist, one of the parents who granted journalists interview on behalf of other affected parents (name withheld) informed that before today, they have been to the school, saw the names of their children on the list pasted, alongside with the account details of the school, account details of PTA and they have paid into the two accounts as stipulated on the information pasted in the school.
Parents further explained that they have bought books, school uniforms, lockers and chairs, even collectibles have been paid, just for them getting to school this morning and saw that the list had been removed and replaced with another. “When we asked the principal, Mrs. Adara, she said, it was from the ministry.”
Speaking with journalists, a man among the parents who preferred to remain anonymous revealed that Mrs. Adara, the principal of St. Louis Grammar School, Akure acted contrary to the instructions of the State Government and she’s seriously rubbishing the good efforts of the government in the area of education.
“This current principal at St. Louis Grammar School, Akure, Mrs. Adara arranged with a tailor in the school compound sewing uniforms for us as against government’s instruction. Let me tell you she’s not ‘dara’ at all, she’s too arrogant. Parents have even wanted to protest before the long vacation over students promotions done suspiciously, I can categorically tell you that the woman is grossly incompetent as principal of such school. We also understood that she had faced panel at the Ministry of Education over some issues.”
However, the affected parents at St. Louis Grammar School, Akure are begging the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to please assist them and call the principal to order.
