Owo Needs Visionary Leaders Who Genuinely Love the Community – Adeola Musa

Engr Adeola Taoheed Musa has charged the people of Owo Land to support Leaders who genuinely love the community, saying that is the only thing that can bring needed development to the town.

The House of Assembly aspirant was speaking at the flagged off of the 26 Referees Training Programne held at the ODAFA Stadium Owo on Saturday 5th of April, 2026.

Adeola said for the community to further experience development, there’s need to put visionary leaders in the leadership positions in order to drive the needed socio-economic growth that will place the town above others in the state.

His words: ” At this point, I think we don’t need selfish and self centered leader whose major concerns is all about his pocket. What Owo needs is selfless leaders whose priority is the welfare of the people and development of the town”.

He clarified that, his co-sponsorship of the 26 Referees Training Programme has no political colouration or undertone, saying it was a genuine contributions to the growth of the youths who are the future leaders of the community.

“I will continue to support genuine initiative aims at developing our young ones and Owo Community. Whatever I contributed was from my heart and my own little way of growing our youths and it has nothing to do with my ambition to serve my people”.

Adeola said he facilitated employment of one Lecturer at the Achievers University Owo to NDDC, saying if more opportunities arises, he’s ready to assist more promising youths of the community.

According to him, he said, he has facilitated several employment opportunities for the youth across board, both from government and private sectors.

He noted that, he has been doing a lot of things at the background without making much noise about it,like scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate students, school uniforms for indigent students across schools in owo,saying he’s not a social media stunt that posted every effort on the net.

He further emphasized that competence and love for Owo must take precedence as the 2027 election is fast approaching, noting that, quality of governance and patriotism must be considered by both political party and voters.

Adeola urged the people of Owo to deploy the power of the ballot to vote genuine leaders who have the love of Owo at heart.

Earlier, he commended the organizers of the programme for conceiving initiatives that is designed to change the lives of the selected young ones positively.

He advised the lucky 26 Referees Trainees to be focused and take every training seriously, adding that, they stand a better chance of becoming global ambassador that will not only make their families proud but also the country.

While advocating for additional two trainees from his Alma mater, Owo High School Owo, he donated 1000 blocks,additional 200k for the two student from Owo High School,15 bags of cement and #250,000 cash, addition to the #1m earlier support to the programme.
