Appoint Selfless Leader As SSA on Artisans Matters, OSAG Tells Gov Aiyedatiwa

Dupson Collins, 7th April, 20026
Following the sacking of the Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants by the Governor of Ondo State, the Artisan’s Group under the leadership of Apostle Adefioye Gbenga-Gure has pleaded with Governor Aiyedatiwa to appoint selfless leader within the group that is generally accepted by all as SSA on Artisans Matters.
In a statement made available to Newsmen, OSAG thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for the recognition accorded Artisans in the State, commending him for being the first governor in the state to create office of Artisans in his cabinet.
” We highly appreciate your government for approving our request of better representation and recognition. You promised to give us ARTISANS DEVELOPMENT and WELFARE BOARD hence you appointed to us an SSA through whose office that will fast-track and accelerate the process of this noble Board.
Mr Governor, you have written your name in gold”.
The President. General pledged the group total loyalty to this administration, saying Artisans will continue to provide required support when needed.
Speaking on the proposed appointment of 1000 aides by the governor, Apostle Adefioye requested the Governor at this time should appoint competent person within the Artisans Group as Senior Special Assistant saying the sacked SSA leadership created division instead of unity among the Artisans Group (OSAG) in the State.
The Group alleged the sacked SSA on Artisans Matters, Comrade Daisi Komolafe of creating parallel and self serving groups which created division among the broader interest of the established over 87 registered Association’s in OSAG. This action almost turned the love of Artisans against the Government if not for the maturity of the present President General Apostle Adefioye used to building the broken bridges by former SSA Comrade Daisi Komolafe.
The President added that, a competent and unified leadership is needed to help cement and sustain the good relationship we are replanting between the government and Artisans, noting that, the group can not make the mistake of having another selfish and self-center person as the representative of the group.
He appreciates Mr for the good step he has taken at the appropriate time to salvage the noble Associations from going down the drain.
