A Community leader in Owo and stakeholder in Ondo State, Otunba Benji Oloye has joined sympathizers to commiserates with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on his mother’s dead.

Lady Evangelist Akeredolu died on Thursday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital at the age of 90 years.

Otunba Benji, a friend to the governor said, Mama Akeredolu inculcated what he described as Godly virtues of prayer, devotion and hardwork in her children which marked them out in all spheres of human endeavours.

“Mama was a committed Christian who used the better part of her life to serve God and humanity.”

He noted that the exemplary life of Mama is the reflection of God’s favour in the life of her children, which Governor Akeredolu among his siblings are enjoying today.

He stated that, the huge investment on the education of her children will remain one enduring legacy of late Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, mother of Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

” Mama was a God fearing woman who had dedicated her life to serving God and working hard towards ensuring that her children make great impact in life”.

Otunba Benji enjoined mothers to emulate the late matriarch of the Akeredolu dynasty by paying attention to the upbringing of their children and wards.

I can only pray that God give our governor and his siblings the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of Akeredolu’s matriarch”.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
