Osun Decides: Former PDP Governorship Candidate, Fryo Declares Support for Adeleke

In less than 72 hours to the Governorship Election of Osun State, the former Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Adebayo Adedamola has declared for Governor Ademola Adeleke saying crisis rocking the PDP and the giant strides recorded by the governor are the basis for the support.
Fryo as popularly called while addressing his supporters at a Press Conference held at the NUJ Press Center, Osogbo asked all members of the PDP and supporters to canvass and vote for the candidate of the Accord Party in the Saturday governorship election.
It could be recalled that, Adebayo Adedamola emerged as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Osun 2026 election, polling 919 votes out of 957 cast in the primary held in Osogbo, the state capital but name was not uploaded by INEC as one of the candidates for the election.
Governor Ademola Adeleke before the primary that produced Fryo announced his resignation from PDP and later joined Accord Party.
Fryo appealed to all residents of Osun to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the elections.
He added that, with the performance and acceptability of Governor Adeleke, Accord Party stand a better chance of winning in the Saturday election.
