Ondo State Voice Support for Olusegun Olufehinti Appointment, Describe Him As A Square Peg In A Square Hole
The applause and heroic enthusiasm by the good people of Ondo State at the announcement of the appointment of Olusegun Olufehinti, as the Executive Director, Project of the South West Development Commission (SWDC) is a indication that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had made no mistake in putting a square peg into a square hole.
In a release by a Group led by Colonel FS and signed by Olatunbosun Awe in Akure, Ondo State, they described the appointment as a square peg in a round hole.
The Statement Read:
“Ondo State had never had it so good in the history of the President’s appointments to the State in the recent time.
Olufehinti history of enviable track records as a seasoned administrator and altruistic bred of human being that had given means of livelihood to so many families in Nigeria had distinguished him from the usual run in the mill politicians who trade only in their political entrepreneurship to the neglect of the needs of the common man.
The recent outcry from a section of the State about his appointment is a war against merit as being exhibited by President Tinubu in rewarding exceptional individuals with appointments into his government.
The appointment of Olufehinti is akin to his altruistic personality that had endeared him into the hearts of the good people of Ondo State.
Equally, the efforts of Senator Opeyemi Bamidele in assisting the President in appointing people of noble character like Olusegun Olufehinti as the Executive Director, Project of the South West Development Commissioner as a means of easing the Polity is commendable”.
