ONDO LAWMAKER, HON. RAYMOND DAODU CONDOLES WITH BASHORUN SEHINDE AROGBOFA OVER WIFE’S DEMISE

By Dupson Collins, 20th June, 2023

The news of the passing away of our mother, late Chief Mrs. Elizabeth Oluwakemi Arogbofa (The Iya Ewe of The African Church, Saviour’s Parish, Ikanmu Oka) came to me as a rude shock. It is a loss too many for the Arogbofas, Epiri, Ikanmu and Oka in general. This is a loss too many.

She was a great pillar of support for our father, Bashorun Sehinde Arogbofa (Asiwaju of Oka). Today, Baba is highly successful because of the love, support, dedication and loyalty of our late mother. Indeed, behind every successful man, there is a caring, loving, hardworking, loyal and prayerful woman. She was everything a man yarning for greatness and success would pray for.

Mama was a loving mother and very accommodating. Her humility was beyond description. I would have wished that she was here to see the developed Oka of her dream. But who are we to question God! I will personally miss you, Mama Arogbofa!

I pray Almighty God to console Asiwaju, Mama’s children and all of us in Oka. May God grant us the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Hon. Raymond O. Daodu,
Deputy Minority Leader, Ondo State House of Assembly, Akure.
