The Trade Union Congress (TUC), Ondo State Council has joined other well-wishers to congratulate the governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his resounding victory in the just concluded governorship election in the state.
The Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the governor as the winner of the November 16 Governorship Election in Ondo State, defeating his closest rival, Hon Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party.
In a Press Released signed by the State Chairman of the Congress, Comrade Clement Fatuase expressed the union’s heartfelt gratitude to the workers who came out enmass to reelect Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, ensuring his continuity beyond 2025.
The TUC Chairman added that, the election results validates the people’s love and appreciation for the governor’s dedication and hard work, most especially to the welfare of the workforce in the state.
Fatuase enjoined the workers to cooperate with the governor saying he’s optimistic that Governor Aiyedatiwa administration will usher in more developments and dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
He added that the leadership of TUC in the state is committed to harmonious working relationship with Governor Aiyedatiwa in ensuring the state continues to move forward and progress in all sectors.
