Ondo Assembly: My Son Victory, Payback Time for My Good Deed – MHA – Elect Mother

The mother of the elected Lawmaker in Akure North State Constituency, Chief Mrs Cecilia Ologede has described the victory of her son as payback for her decades of political engagement in the state, saying it was a well deserved victory.

Chief Mrs Cecilia Taiwo Ologede is the Eye-Lobirin of Eleyewo in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. A politician, philanthropist and a respected women leader of class in the Sunshine State.

Hon Kolawole Ologede was declared winner in the Saturday’s March 18, Assembly poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) having polled the highest votes and satisfied all requirements of the electoral act.

Speaking with the PATH in Eleyewo, Chief Ologede said her several years in the politics of Akure and its environs eventually paid with the victory of her son who is the darling of the people of the Akure North Local Government.

Her words: ” The victory of my son is a pay back time for me both in politics and community service. With the little God has given to me, I always remember the less privileged and needy around me. I was delighted seeing the people of my community trooping out in large number to support and vote for my child”.

She thanked the voters across the local government for their show of love mostly the residents of Eleyewo Community, saying she will forever be grateful for their kindness, support and commitment.

Eye-lobinrin also thanked governor and leaders of the party in the local government for believing in the ability and capacity of the elected Lawmaker, saying he won’t disappoint the confidence repose in him.
