Ondo 2024: Why Jimoh Ibrahim Withdrew Court Case Against Aiyedatiwa, APC, INEC

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim representing Ondo South in the Senate has revealed the rationale behind his withdrawal of law suit instituted against All Progressive Congress (APC) Governor Aiyedatiwa and INEC over the party’s governorship primary.

The Billionaire Senator was one of the APC governorship Aspirants that took part in the April 20 Governorship Primary in Ondo State where the Kogi State Governor, Adodo Usman led Committee declared the incumbent governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the winner of the primary.

Not satisfied with the outcome of the primary, Barr Jimoh Ibrahim asked the Federal High Court Abuja to cancel the primary and order fresh primary while also asking the Court to bar the party from presenting candidate as there was no election in the state.
