Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, and the Great People of Ondo State
On the historic occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Ondo State, I join other distinguished sons and daughters of our beloved state in warmly congratulating His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, along with the resilient, peace-loving, and forward-looking residents of our Sunshine State.
This Golden Jubilee offers a fitting occasion to honor the founding pioneers of our state—visionary leaders, patriots, and trailblazers whose sacrifices, courage, and foresight established the foundation upon which the state now stands. We also celebrate residents across generations whose hard work, culture, and resilience have sustained Ondo State through changing times.
Fifty years of statehood symbolizes more than the passage of time; it reflects our identity, perseverance, and destiny. It is an opportunity to acknowledge past sacrifices, evaluate current realities, and purposefully shape a bright future.

Your administration is diligently reconfiguring the state’s financial system, strengthening the government’s economic stability, and restoring fiscal discipline. Simultaneously, you are laying the foundation for a sustainable economy through key projects like the deep-sea port, refinery and petrochemical development, and modernization of industrial assets—signals of a future economy centered on productivity and value creation.
As Ondo State commemorates its Golden Jubilee, public expectations are extending beyond festivities. The occasion continues to inspire conversations around inclusive governance, institution-building, economic growth, and human capital development.
