A Chieftain of the People Democratic Party in Ifedore Local Government of Ondo State, Engr Wasiu Fase has pleaded with the people of Aaye Community to support and vote the candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) has slated the Governorship Election in Ondo State to the 16th of November, where 17 political parties will slug it out.
One of the leading candidates in the race is the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon Alfred Agboola Ajayi and his running mate, a serving Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Festus Akingbaso are determined to rescue Ondo State from the maladministration of the ruling APC.
The Coordinator of Agbogbaso Mobilisation Movement, Alaafin while addressing the people at his ward meeting held at Aaye community in Eka Mefa, Ifedore Local Government, said out of the candidates in the race, Agboola Ajayi and Festus Akingbaso combination would bring back the lost glory of the state.
His words: ” We don’t need anybody to campaign for us on who to vote for; the current economic hardship and poverty in the land which was brought on us by the ruling APC is enough conviction that the time of APC is up in Ondo State. We can’t continue to wallow in poverty and pretend as if all is well”.
” I enjoin you to vote for the People’s Democratic Party who is parading the best brains that will make Ondo State shine again. The duo of Agbo and Fessy have what it takes to deliver dividends of good governance to all. Let’s embrace genuine change in government and allow the era of surplus to return to our dear Sunshine State”.
