In recognition of their noble contributions to the development of humanity, community and outstanding feats in field of endeavours, the management of the PATH NEWS, organizer of Sunshine State Role Model Award is conferring awards on Eminent Nigerians.
The 20 Awardees were selected based on the opinion polls conducted on the Sunshine State Role Model Award 2023 platform, beating over Hundred Nominees in different categories of the Award.
Speaking, the Editor-in-Chief of PATH NEWS, Mr Dupson Collins who double as the Chairman Planning Committee congratulated the successful nominees, saying their outstanding credentials in terms of service delivery, commitment and humanitarian services stood them out among numerous people nominated for the prestigious Award.
The investiture of the Award is taking place on Sunday 26th November, 2023 at the Event Hall of OSPDC, Ijapo Estate Akure Ondo State Capital.
The Theme of the Public Lecture is tagged: “Nigeria Political Leaders’ Pestilence of Forged Certificate Scandals: The Consequences for the Future of Nigerian Youths” to be delivered by Kayode Taiwo, a PhD Economics from the Universidade do Minho, Portugal.
The Royal Father of the day is Olurese of Irese, HRM Oba Ahmed Saka Destiny while Hon Femi Idris, Executive Chairman of Local Government Service Commission will chair the event.
Special Guest of Honour is the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN while Olayato Aribo, Commissioner for Agriculture & Forestry, Comrade Bola Taiwo, State President of NULGE, Barr Kolawole Alonge, SSA on Social Investment Programme are Special Guests.
Other highlight of the Programme is the Unveiling and Launching of the PATH LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION where Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu, APC Chieftain is the Chief Launcher while Hon Festus Akingbaso, MHR and Dr Wilson Thomas Ikubese are Co-Launchers respectively.
The Eminent Nigerians receiving the Awards are Engr Olajide Edward Akinyeye, Pharm Akindeko Robinson Eniola, Hon Gbogi Emmanuel, Mrs Irene Adekanbi, Surveyor Ogunro Gbemiga Moses, Prince Ayodeji Oluwasanmi, Mr Akinnaso Babatunde, Mr Akinnagbe Akinbamidele, Dr Timi Ologunoye, Dr Tunji Rhema Moyero and Oba Ahmed Saka Destiny.
Others are JNC Chairman, Olapade Adeniji, Ajiboye Olusegun Adesuyi, Hon Raymond O Daodu (ROD), Chief Akindele Omole FCA, Prince Fadola Aderosoye, Comrade Olasoji Oluwatuyi, Hon Fase Wasiu Michael, Prophet Godwin Ikuru and Areoye Najeem.
