All roads leading to the ancient town of Owo as His Imperial Majesty, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye,the Olowo of Owo will install an industrialist and business man, Otunba Benji Oloye as the Bashorun of Owo kingdom on Friday, 18th November, 2022.
The installation is billed to take place at the place of Olowo at 10am.
For the first class monarch to considered the Owo born industrialist for the high ranking chieftaincy title, it shows Otunba Benji Oloye must have done something spectacular and unique to the development of Owo.
Bashorun chieftaincy title is one of the highly respected and valued title in Yoruba land and whoever is considered for the position must have been an exceptional person by all standards.
Speaking with the PATH NEWS on the program of the installation, Otunba Benji said only the installation will take place on Friday while Iwuye proper will come up next year during Easter period.
He thanked the monarch for the great honour bestowed on him, promising to continue to lead in every direction that will bring progress and development to Owo Kingdom.
