Ologede, MHA Elect buries Grandma in Grand style

It was a gathering of who-is-who at Eleyewo in Akure North Local Government of Ondo State on Saturday 1st April, 2023 when the Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly Elect, Hon Kolawole Ologede buries his Grandma in style.
Mama Elizabeth Aina Ado Nee Arijodi aged 120 died peacefully at Eleyewo Community. The reception and entertainment of guests were held at the LA Primary School, Eleyewo where guest were treated to sumptuous meals and drinks.
Dignitaries that graced the funeral includes the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR, Chairman of Akure South, Barrister Olaniyi Hostwell, Majority Leader, ODHA, Hon Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi West, Hon Rasheed Elegbeleye, Hon Oladapo Biola (MHA ELECT) among others.
Speaking with the PATH, Hon Kolawole Ologede described his grandma as a caring woman who brought him up from age three, saying all the good virtue people appreciate in him was gotten from the good upbringing of his grandmother.
His words: ” Mama was a good mother that raised me up from age three; she taught me how to cook, behave and live a righteous life. She was a disciplinarian, caring and pleasant woman”.
Ologede noted that he will definitely miss her words of wisdom and good character that would be emulated.
The MHA Elect thanked the people of Eleyewo, friends and political leaders and associates that graced the final funeral of his grandmother.
In the same vein, the mother of MHA Elect, Chief Cecelia Taiwo Ologede, the Eye-Lobirin of Eleyewo showered encomium on her late mother who she described as a mother with good heart to everyone around her.
” During my days as government worker, my mother was the one who helped me to raised all my children including the MHA Elect; I am praying to God to give me her kind of character and good heart”.
Eye-lobinrin also described her mother as a cheerful given who was ready to give her last Kobo to the needy.
While thanking the people of Eleyewo and traditional leaders, she particularly thanked the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi for gracing the occasion, saying she felt honoured to have the Chairman of the Traditional Rulers in Ondo State at the event.
” Deji of Akure has been supportive and being of assistance to the Ologede’s family particularly to the MHA Elect. He supported him to be elected Councilor some years back and today as the Lawmaker to represent the people of Akure North at the State Assembly”.
She prayed for the peaceful reign of the monarch and long life on the throne of his forefathers saying Deji is a God sent to her family.
Other dignitaries in attendance are the former Commissioner of Works, Hon Saka Ogunleye, Market Woman Leader of APC, Councillors, Hon Falae, Hon Segun Adagunodo Santana, CEO of Jidex Casket among others.
