The Leadership of National Rescue Movement hereby disassociates herself from the purported endorsement of APC presidential candidate ahead of February 25th presidential election by some group of political parties in Lagos.
We read on some social media platforms that Temilola Akinlade, a suspended member of our Party, suspended former Presidential Candidate, Mazi Okwudili Nwanyajike and some faceless members of some political parties in Lagos state had
endorsed the candidature of former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu ahead of the presidential election.
No serious party goes into transaction without double checking on those involved to ascertain their standing in the parties or associations they represents. Any politician who out of desperation allows himself to be duped for an endorsement that is worth less than a tissue paper has himself to blame.
We here by advise the general public to disregard this self serving action by some faceless political merchants and their activities whose only value is a needless social media read.
For the records, our great party, National Rescue Movement (NRM) as a political party, took a stand on February 18th in Adamawa during the PDP mega rally where we endorsed the candidature of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and that remains the only unanimous endorsement by the party.
