A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and House of Representatives aspirant in Akure South and North Federal Constituency, Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu has charged Nigerians not to forget the sacrifice of the country’s past heroes who fought for the independent of Nigeria.
While joining notable Nigerians to celebrate Nigeria’s 62nd Independence, he noted that, it is yet another opportunity for Nigerians to come together to build a united nation.
In a release personally signed and made public, Barr. Adu wished Nigerians a happy celebration, asking the people to use 2023 general election to right the wrong of the present and past leaders.
” Nigeria is at a crossroad and the decisions the people take in the coming General Elections by Feb. 2023 will go a long way in rewriting its tales of woe”, he stated.
He expressed hope in the future of the country, stressing that Nigerians will again witness a life of abundance and prosperity as the best still lies ahead.
In his charge to the leaders, he urged them to remain truthful to the cause of justice and be fair to all tribes in line with the dreams of our founding Fathers.
He also called for unity of purpose that favours competence above tribal sentiments which is capable of undermining the pursuit of a great nation.
