NIEEE Chairman, Engr. Adedokun Adeyonu Bags Distinguished Leadership Award in Professionalism

Engr. Adedokun Adeyemi Adeyonu, the Chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (NIEEE), Akure Chapter has added another feather to his cap as the management of the Democrat News Magazine conferred Distinguished Leadership Award in Professionalism on him.
The colourful ceremony took place at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Ijapo, Akure, on Sunday 30th November where distinguished personalities, family members, and well-wishers converged to honour outstanding individuals impacting their communities and professions.
The highlight of the event was the official presentation of awards to notable achievers whose contributions reflect dedication, excellence, and service to humanity.
Among the celebrated honourees were:
Oba Benjamin Omoleewe, Dr. Adeniran Oyebade, Barr. Otunba Yemi Adetayinbo,
Dr. Taiwo Agnes Ajileye, Pastor Marcus Akinduko,Comrade Ayorinde John Omotayo,
Comrade Adewale Bolarinwa and others
Speaking at the event, the Publisher of Democrat News Magazine, Mr. Alaba John Aliu, noted that the Roll of Honours was instituted to celebrate individuals who are excelling in their various fields and to encourage others to emulate their dedication and commitment.
Earlier, the gathering was enriched by an insightful lecture titled “Energy Transition and Environmental Sustainability in Nigeria”, delivered by Professor Sunday Oladeji of the Department of Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Chatting with the PATH, Engr Adeyonu thanked the publisher of the Democrat Magazine for counting him worthy for the Prestigious honour, promising to continue to contribute to engineering profession in Ondo State and Nigeria.
He further said that, his vision is to make a big difference as the Chairman of NIEEE in Akure while urging engineers in different fields to be professional in their line of duties.
He thanked his wife for the support always saying her support and words of encouragement are the driving force for every achievement recorded.
