National Award: Emilokan Tinubu/Shettima Strikers Coordinator, Alonge Congratulates Akeredolu, Others

Ondo State Coordinator of the Emilokan Tinubu/Shettima Strikers, Barr Felix Alonge has congratulated the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, on his nomination for Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) award.
Akeredolu was shortlisted for the National Honour by President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) along side other 436 personalities who have contributed to national development and nation building.
The award conferment will take place on the 11th of October, 2022 in Abuja.
In a statement personally signed by the Coordinator, Barr Alonge said the award is well deserving and no doubt a testimony of the governor’s outstanding feats and sterling performance in nation building.
His words: ” To be considered for National Honour among the 36 governors, it simply means, President Buhari has seen something unique and outstanding in Arakunrin Akeredolu that is deserving of the prestigious honour of CON”, He Noted.
The Coordinator who also double as SSA to the Governor on Social Investment Programme further stated that Akeredolu is an outspoken leader who is not afraid to speak truth to power despite being a member of the ruling party.
” Governor Akeredolu is one man that prioritize the welfare and security of his people. In spite of being a respected party man, he always takes side with the people, mostly on security and national issues that affect the people of the state”, he affirmed.
While appreciating President Buhari for the recognition given to the governor and other notable indigenes of the state, he charged the governor to continue to stand firm in whatever he believes in and also ensure he delivers South West to APC in the forthcoming general election as the South West Campaign Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Presidency.
