Multiple Awards Winning PS, Bayo Ilawole Ph.d, Bags Golden Leadership Award of Excellence

A Coalition of Progressive Professionals of Yoruba Extraction, Yoruba Study Group (YSG) has conferred Icon of Excellence and Most Outstanding Administrator of the Year on Dr Bayo Ilawole, the Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission.
The multiple awards winning Permanent Secretary was decorated in Akure by the President of the Group, Adeosun Williams who led the delegation of the group to the capital city of Ondo State, Akure.
Speaking, the President of YSG stated that, Ilawole was honoured with the Prestigious award of Golden Leadership Award of Excellence based on his landmark achievements in public service and immeasurable contributions to humanity.
Adeosun added that, the PS unprecendented strides towards the economic growth, infrastructural and human capital development in Ondo State caught the attention of the group which better positioned him for the honour.
His words: ” Your advancement of civil service and Local Government Administration in Ondo State and quality service delivery over the years are unprecendented and deserved awards and recognition”.
YSG president further said, the search light of the group captured Ilawole activities and achievements while serving as Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) in Akure North, Odigbo, Ese Odo and Akoko North East, saying his records in those Local Governments remain a template for his predecessors in office.
He noted that, Dr Ilawole has at all times demonstrated Omoluwabi ethos in all his conduct and deeds.
” For being a thorough breeed Omoluwabi and a disciplinarian whose vision in life, diligence, dedication, excellent human relations and content of good character has not only seen to an enviable place of pride but has also been a source of great aspirations to millions of Nigerians youth”.
While commending Dr Ilawole, Adeosun urged him to continue to bring his expertise and wealth of experience into use, noting that his achievements has continued to be source of motivation to a lot of public servants in Ondo State.

You have distinguished yourself as a rare gem in your quality service delivery, leadership quality, administrative competence and unquenchable thirst for excellence in terms of quality
He thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for the choice of Dr Bayo Ilawole as the Permanent Secretary of the commission, describing him as a round peg in a round hole.
In his words, Dr Bayo Ilawole thanked the delegation of the Yoruba Study Group (YSG) for the recognition and honoured bestowed on him by one of the leading Yoruba groups in South West Nigeria.
He added that, as a shining example to the civil servants in Ondo State, Ilawole promised to continue to live above board in all his dealings as a Permanent Secretary.
The PS assured the Group that he will continue to maintain Omoluwabi ethos, diligence and dedication in his line of duties.
