May Day: Ondo TUC Chairman Congratulates Workers’, Says They Deserve Better Wages

The Ondo State Chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Clement Fatuase has joined other labour leaders in the country and the world to celebrate this year’s workers day.
Comrade Fatuase congratulated Nigerian workers, describing them as resolute people who deserves more better welfare packages and pay as well as other related.
The TUC Chairman said despite the difficult and economic hardship, workers are still putting their best in discharge of their duties, urging the government to reciprocate with better welfare package.
He encouraged Nigerian labour leaders to be courageous while discussing labour related issues with government especially as it affects the social and economic benefit of Nigerian workers.
While commending the State Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa for being a workers loving governor since assumption of office, he enjoined him to further give priority to the welfare of workers in all sector of the state civil service.
He urged the workers in the state not to relent in putting their best in the service of the state believing both the state and federal governments will come up with minimum wage that will commensurate with the economic reality in Nigeria.
