June 12: Hon Feyisola Bolodeoku Felicitates President Tinubu, Aiyedatiwa, Calls For Sober reflection On State of the Nation

Hon. Feyisola Bolodeoku, a former Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Produce has congratulated the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration.

In a message made available to the PATH, the APC Chieftain from Odigbo Local Government said beyond the celebration of June 12, it should be a period of sober reflection about the state of the nation.

He said inspite of the challenges bedevilling the country, democracy is still the best form of government for the masses, noting that with the reform of both the federal and state governments, there’s better days ahead.

He emphasized the historic significance of June 12, a date that remains deeply symbolic in Nigeria’s democratic journey, marking the landmark 1993 presidential election widely regarded as a turning point in the nation’s struggle for democratic governance and the mandate of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

Bolodeoku added that, June 12 will forever remain a reminder of the resilience of Nigerians in the pursuit of justice, freedom, and true democracy.

He commended President Tinubu for his commitment to strengthening democratic governance and addressing the nation’s economic and security challenges.

The former SSA acknowledged the sacrifices being made by Nigerians and urged citizens not to lose hope, expressing confidence that the administration’s ongoing reforms and security measures would yield positive results

” Mr President remains focused on building a more secure, stable, and prosperous nation, and with patience and collective support, the current challenges confronting the country will be overcome”.

However, he expressed optimism that through sustained efforts by the government, security agencies, and the cooperation of citizens, Nigeria will overcome its present security challenges and emerge stronger.

Bolodeoku congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa for his steadfast leadership and dedication to the development of Ondo State mostly on his commitment to good governance, infrastructural development, and the welfare of the people, noting that his administration continues to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy across the state.

He further extended her warm greetings to the leaders and people of Odigbo Local Government urging them to remain peaceful, united, and committed to the ideals of democracy.
