One of the newly inaugurated commissioners in Ondo State, Engr Razaq Obe has promised not to deviate from Governor Akeredolu REDEEMED AGENDA, saying his appointment will no doubt add values to good governance in the state.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu sworn in newly appointed commissioners, Special Advisers and DG on Monday 13th of December, 2021 at The DOME in Akure, state capital.
Speaking with the PATH Correspondent, Engr Obe thanked the governor for the confidence repose in him, promising not to disappoint him.
According to him, ” I will bring my experience in the private sector into use and Mr Governor can be assured of laudable contributions to his government”.
He promised to key into the vision of the governor, adding that the REDEEMED agenda set by the governor must come to fulfilment before the expiration of his second term in office.
Engr Obe commended the giant strides of the governor in the last four years, noting that Governor Akeredolu achievement is unprecedented and more pronounced in the number and quality roads construction, health care system, industrialisation, economy development among others.
Speaking at the reception venue in Ilara Mokin, the Secretary of Ifedore Local Government, Hon Awoseye Collins commended the choice of Engr Obe as commissioner in the cabinet of the People’s Governor.
” The people of Ilara-Mokin are rejoicing and in happy mood with the appointment and confirmation of Engr Obe. We are happy because one of our best sons is now a serving commissioner”.
The Secretary said Engr Obe is highly cerebral, hardworking, focused and a good man with good heart.” He is a man with good heart, advocate of true federalism and a strong believer in the emancipation of the youth.
Hon Awoseye said Engr Obe has a lot to offer, assuring Akeredolu that, Obe won’t disappoint him. He appealed to the sons and daughters of Ilara Mokin to support and cooperate with him in order to bring dividend of good governance to the people.
In the same vein, Comrade Adefila Wale James described the commissioner as an international man whose connection cut across the globe.
According to Adefila, appointment of Obe as Commmisioner will further bring desire transformation into the government of Arakunrin Akededolu.
Comrade Adefila further noted that, Engr Obe is ready to serve the state diligently in any capacity, adding that he is an incorruptible man.
Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu has tasked the new commissioners to live above board while serving the state.
