In a bid to give back to the society and ensure a better living for the underprivileged, the formal commissioner of women affairs in Ondo State and the founder of MyChoice Group Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole has donated food items to Akure correctional Home, Ondo Road, Akure Ondo State.
The correctional home visit was part of Princess Omowunmi Christmas Palliative for widows, Aged which was recently held in Akure, Ondo State Capital.
In her remarks, the Akure Princess admonished the students at the correctional home to be of good character and moral at all times.
“You all need to display positive attitude, despite your present circumstances. There is hope for your future,” she said.
Items donated are cartons of noodle, fruit juice, toiletries, bag of rice among others.
In their separate remarks the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Juliana Osadahun and the Administrative Secretary of the Home, Mrs Foluke Tunde Adaramola, thanked the Akure Princess for the kind gesture, adding that, her support to the correctional Home would go a long way in assisting the students.
Other Members on the Omowunmi’s entourage were the the Chairperson of Women Arise, Mrs Taiwo Olayiwola, Mrs Mosunmola Olatunji and Mrs Ibironke.
