HON OLABANJI ATANMUYIDE BAGS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE AT CAC GRAMMAR SCHOOL AKURE 60TH ANNIVERSARY

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of CAC Grammar School Akure, Hon Olabanji Atanmuyide has been conferred with award of Excellence as part of activities marking the 60th anniversary of the school.
The institution honoured some of its distinguished alumni as a form of appreciating their respective support and contributions to the development of their alma mater.
The award conferment was held on Saturday March 29th at the school auditorium during the Award Nite & Dinner.
Speaking with PATH, the National President of the school Alumni, Chief Olatunji said the honour was offered on BJ as popularly called as a result of his dedication to give back to the institution among other contributions.
In the same vein, the Principal of the school, Mrs Mercy Adetimehin commended the giant strides of Hon BJ in the development of the school, while urging other old students to emulate his philatropic gestures to the school.
In his response, Hon BJ thanked the leadership of the Alumni for the great honour bestowed on him among several old students of the school saying the award means a lot to him.
He added that, giving back to one’s alma mater should ordinarily be a thing of joy and service to the source that makes him what he is today.
BJ promised to continue to extend hands of fellowship to CAC Grammar School Akure, asking alumni of the school to cultivate the habit of giving back no matter how small or big.
“This honour is a call to do more, a testament to the dedication and commitment to add value to my alma mater”.
He further thanked the Class of 2001 for their love and support saying the award is for them.
“Thank you once again for this great honour. I am proud to be product of CAC Grammar School Akure and to my classmates, the 2001 Sets, I say thank you for the love. May Almighty God continue to meet us at our point of needs”.
