I Remain State Chairman of TOAN, Says Odudu Inauguration of Ogaga Illegal

The State Chairman of the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN) Adefehinti Adeniyi Akintoye has described the swearing of one Timileyin John Ogaga a.k.a Gaga as the state chairman of TROAN by the Chairman of the NURTW, Comrade Ademola Odudu as illegal saying he remains the chairman of the association.

It could be recalled that, Comrade Odudu Sworn in Ogaga as the State Chairman of TOAN, an action the state government has described as Null and Void.

While Comrade Adefehinti Adeniyi Akintoye was busy lobbying the State Government to return the association to its original owners like that of NURTW, Ogaga and his cohorts went through the back door to be sworn in as Chairman by unauthorized person, Ademola Odudu.

Meanwhile, Ondo State Government through the office of the Special Adviser on Special Duties to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has disassociated the government from the Odudu’s Inauguration.

” As a matter of clarification; COMTRA is the umbrella body of “Okada and Keke Maruwa” in Ondo State, and the government of Ondo State since 2017 has been the sole coordinator of their activities through the office of the Special Duties to the Governor.

The activities of COMTRA “Okada and Keke Maruwa” is still under the purview and supervision of the State Government through the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy.

Comrade Akintoye warned Timileyin John Ogaga a.k.a Gaga from parading himself as the State Chairman of TROAN and stop misleading the public.

He asked the general public not to have any transaction to do with him saying he remains the only recognized state chairman of the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria duly elected.

The TOAN State Chairman pleaded with the governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to hand over the affairs of the association to the body saying they are partners in progress with his government.
