Flood Control: AKSLG Chairman, Gbenga Fasua Lauds Aiyedatiwa, Inspects Clearing & Waterway Expansion at Danjuma Community

The Chairman of the Akure-South Local Government, Hon. Fasua Gbenga, conducted his first working visit to Danjuma community in Akure-South Local Government on Friday.
The purpose of the visit was to inspect the ongoing clearing and expansion of the waterways, aimed at reducing the impact of flooding in the area and its surroundings.
The chairman expressed his gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for initiating the project, which will help reduce the impact of flooding in the community and Akure at large. Additionally, he thanked the governor for promptly addressing the needs of the people and expressed his appreciation to the community for their continued support of the government.
Reverend Canon Victor, one of the community leaders, expressed appreciation to the Governor. He also promised that the community would be vigilant in preventing people from dumping refuse in the waterways.
