FIWASAYE TO BUILD MINI SPORT ARENA AS PRINCIPAL COMMENDS AKEREDOLU GIANT STRIDES ON EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

The Principal of Fiwasaye Girls’Grammar School Akure, Mrs Temitope Ojoge has revealed that the girls school will soon build a mini sport arena where the students can develop and discover their sporting talents.
The Girls’ Grammar School has for a long time be at the forefront in athlete in Ondo State, to encourage other sporting activities, the Principal is determined to build a mini sporting arena in the school.
She said: ” We are holding our inter house sport this term; aside athlete where my girls are doing well, I still want to encourage my girls in other sporting activities, I am planning to build a mini sport arena before the end of this term to encourage my girls in sports”.
Meanwhile, the Principal has commended the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN over the Payment of the SSS 3 students WAEC fees, saying the gesture has shown the governor as lover of education.
” We were thinking that the government won’t be able to pay this year WAEC fees due to the poor economic situation in the country but surprisingly, the governor announced the payment. The payment relief parents of the burden of looking for money”.
While also thanking the governor for the approval of 65 retirement age or 40 service years for teachers, she added that the approval is a good omen to the education sector in Ondo State.
According to her, “The teachers were happy with the official approval by the governor. We can only appreciate the governor by working hard and committed in our line of duties”.
Mrs Ojoge advised the students to be law abiding as 2023 general election is fast approaching, saying they shouldn’t be apprehensive as God is in control. ” For those of you above 18, go out on the election day to exercise your franchise as demand by law”.
